Photo of Rose Emily According to Claire Martin, Emily is Mary Rose made more compact, more fragrant, and more remontant. If this rose embodies all these qualities without loss of any of its parent’s toughness and vigor, then it is an exceptional rose.

Good luck finding it. In a significant lapse of reason the ARS began allowing multiple roses with the same name to be registered provided that they are in different classes.

This presumes two totally false things: 1) that classes are never redefined or grouped together and 2) all rose purchasers know and care which class the rose they seek belongs to.
