One AARS winner for 2004 is a really striking floribunda. The plant is about knee-high. It is well branched and densely foliaged with dark green, healthy foliage. It produces clusters of high-centered bi-colored roses in pink and yellow. And evidently it does so with good regularity. The effect is cheery, yet restrained.
In this San Jose garden it grows without the protection of fungicides, and appears quite healthy. Given its award status, we assume that it will do well in other parts of the country with protection. |
