Conrad F. Meyer

Fragrant & Remontant
Low Roses | Bushes | Shrubs | Climbers
Photo of Rose Conrad Ferdinand Meyer Few rugosa hybrids gain much over their rugosa ancestors. Conrad Ferdinand Meyer got bigger and sharper prickles, stronger stems, more intense odor, and the propensity to make high-centered hybrid tea style blossoms - sometimes.

CFM is not temperamental, it rarely falls prey to disease. It is a little lethargic in my own garden, putting up a single new cane each year. This gives it a spindly look normally reserved for hybrid teas.

ARS members rate it 7.3. Many rosarians find it a little more irresistable because of its unique, if subtle, charms. I won't go without.
