Photo of Rose All that Jazz at Colonial Park Rose Garden The floribunda Cathedral has a lot going for it. The flowers are a delicious confection of canteloupe melon with flame highlights and strawberry frosted edges. The plant is vigorous and healthy, and there is even some scent.

If there is a down side, it is probably that the rose is not so generous with its flowers as are many floribundas. But it can hold them well above the plant so that they can be brightly lit in front of a distant dark field.

The rose won three major awards when it was introduced including an AARS award. It gets a solid 7.6 rating by ARS members.
