Its two-toned flowers in delectable apricot and raspberry shades and its strong spicy smell are strong attractions to this rose. Its flowers, however, are not large by hybrid tea standards. It is a nice rose for the cutting garden, if not the show bench.
ARS members give Broadway a middling 6.8. This particular specimen was a foot high when photographed in mid-June in a garden where all HTs are pruned to the ground for winter; this is a photo of a whole plant. Perhaps it will catch up by fall.
