Brass Band is one of handful of deliciously fragrant floribundas - illustrated here with a companion of the same ilk, Sun Flare. If one has a sense of fun, one can find all sorts of fruits in the colors of this rose - melons, oranges, apricots, lemons, perhaps even cherries - it can be variable.
The rose is relatively disease resistant and it is a steady grower: given good conditions it can be very pleasing. ARS members give it a solid 7.8. It may not be quite so foliferous as it's named parent, Gold Badge, but it manages to crank out flowers with good regularity. |
