Betty Prior

Low Roses | Bushes | Shrubs | Climbers
Photo of Rose Gold Badge When it is cultivated well, Betty Prior can cover one or two square feet of real estate with single pink flowers. The rose has few disease problems and can be vigorous if given good soil. On her own roots in poor soil she is hopeless.

ARS members rate this rose 8.2.

I can imagine that some of the new groundcover roses bred by Poulsen might be good alternatives; but I have yet to see them in real life.
